Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends Review + Giveaway

My family is comprised of a bunch of cereal killers. As quickly as cereal comes in to this house, it is gone. Once a new box of cereal is opened, it doesn't stand a chance for more than 48 hours.

Who can blame us? Cereal is the mother of all quick and easy hunger solutions, be it 7 o'clock in the morning or 7 o'clock at night...or any time before, between or after.

Seriously? Who doesn't love cereal?

I'm pleased to be able to introduce you to the newest member of the Honey Bunches of Oats Family, Tropical Blends:

Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends Cereal is truly a unique taste bud experience with crispy mango flavored flakes, real coconut shavings and coconut flavored granola clusters. It has 10g of whole grain per serving and 9 essential vitamins and minerals, including 60% daily value of iron.

Here's the best part about this cereal: Most kids aren't gaga over coconut and mango (my own included) which means.......more for Mom!

I'd love for you to try New Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends too! I'm giving away (2) coupons each for a FREE box of any Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal! Simply leave me a comment and tell me what your all-time favorite cereal is and you'll be entered to win! Dry Idea Advanced Dry Review + Giveaway

The secret to life? Never let them see you sweat. With New Dry Idea AdvancedDry brand antiperspirant and deodorant, they never will. Dry Idea AdvancedDry offers long-lasting odor protection for up to 72 hours and Pulse Activated Wetness Protection to keep you dry and feeling clean and confident all day long. And it's formulated with Vitamin E for silky smooth application.

Dry Idea provided me with a full size Fresh scented roll-on antiperspirant & deodorant to try and review. I'm always excited to try out a new product (especially when it's free!), but I have to be honest, I wasn't crazy about using a new deodorant. I really liked the deodorant I was already using...so much so that it's the same brand I've been using since high school AND I'd never used a roll-on deodorant before. I guess my antiperspirant attitude was "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Truthfully, it never occurred to me to even try another brand or even another type of antiperspirant & deodorant.

I figured my Dry Idea would arrive, I'd give it a try and use it for a day or two, write up an honest review of what I thought about it and then go right back to using the deodorant I've been using for years and years. This has not been the case. To my surprise, I really, REALLY like Dry Idea AdvancedDry. I loved how easy it went on, how fast drying it was and I really liked the Fresh scent. I also liked that it didn't leave unwanted gunky residue on me or my clothes. It's amazing how well you think a product works (my old stand-by deodorant) until you try something new.

I'm so glad I was able to try Dry Idea and I'd love to provide you with an opportunity to try it too!

I'm giving away (2) coupons for FREE Dry Idea AdvancedDry Antiperspirant & Deodorants...simply leave a comment below to be entered to win! (Ends 3/11.)

Premam Prenatal Vitamin Drink Mix Review

Prenatal vitamins, while crucial to a pregnancy, are less than desirable for a number of reasons. The worst of these is that they are twelve times the size of any pill you will ever take in your life, making them difficult, or for some, impossible to swallow. They can cause or contribute to nausea as well as constipation.

Say good-bye to those nasty horse pills and hello to Premama!

Premama Prenatal Vitamin Drink Mix is 100% natural, only 6 calories, easy to mix, easy to digest,  flavorless, contains DHA and all of the vitamins and nutrients essential to a healthy Premama and her unborn child. Premama can be mixed with just about any drink (though it's not recommended for use in plain water, which is a bummer, carbonated drinks or warm beverages) and is virtually undetectable to your taste buds.

I was sent several boxes of Premama to share and review the product. We tried Premama in orange juice, iced tea, Crystal Light and Fruit Punch. We all agreed that we either could not taste or did not mind the taste of these drinks with Premama added to them.

You can learn all about Premama on their website here. Be sure to like Premama on Facebook too!

**ALSO**

Get 15% off your purchase at www.drinkpremama.com when you use promotion code: Sweepstakes2013

I was sent Premama as part of a promotional partnership between Premama and MomSelect in exchange for reviewing and sharing the products. No monetary exchange took place and any and all opinions are my own.**

Premama is a prenatal vitamin powder drink mix with DHA. It is doctor recommended, 100% natural, is gluten-free, lactate-free, BPA free and contains all the nutrients that you and your growing baby need. You can learn more about Premama here.

Borax is my new best friend. (Review + Giveaway)

Leave it to me to be late to the laundry party.

I'm no longer in the dark.

I have discovered............

20 Mule Team Borax.

I had seen it in the store, up on the top shelf, above the bleach, but I didn't really know what it was. The box says it's a detergent booster, but I figured the only laundry boost I needed was the motivation to get up and actually do the laundry.

I was recently sent a box of 20 Mule Team Borax to review and I can honestly say that it will be a permanent staple in my laundry room from here on out.

So what exactly is Borax anyway? 20 Mule Team Borax is 100% natural mineral from the earth. Once it's removed from the ground, it's washed, dried and then boxed. There is absolutely NOTHING added to it. No phosphates, no chlorine, no additive chemicals of ANY kind. Borax is actually the common name for sodium tetraborate. It's a naturally occuring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes. Pretty cool, right?

20 Team Mule Borax really is a laundry booster. By adding 1/2 cup to every load, it naturally softens hard water and improves your detergent's cleaning power. Over 85% of homes have "hard water". Hard water is water that contains both calcium and magnesium ions. When laundry detergent is added to hard water, some of the compounds attach to calcium and magnesium granules that settle on the bottle of your washing machine tub and head back down the drain without actually cleaning your clothes. Who can afford to waste detergent? Not this girl. 20 Mule Team Borax also keeps stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes AND it neutralizes odors. I wash a garbage man's clothes every day, remember? I know all about the importance of stain removal and odor neutralization.

You came to win a coupon...you had no idea you'd be getting such an education, did you?

I would LOVE for you to try 20 Mule Team Borax for yourself! Simply leave a comment on this post and you'll be entered to win. (2) winners will be chosen at random on Sunday, February 10th and will each win a coupon for a FREE box of 20 Mule Team Borax.

***Borax provided me with a box of their product in order for me to review it. My participation is voluntary and my opinions, naturally, are my own.***

Creativity for Kids Playdate

We host a playdate in our backyard every Wednesday with each gathering having a different theme. Our theme today was Creativity for Kids. The wonderful folks at Faber-Castell's Creativity for Kids sent us two huge boxes chock full of fun craft kits for our girls to use for our playdate.

We had kits to make Fashion Headbands, Fashion Bracelets, Stuck-On Fashion Totes and Pop-Art Necklaces.

We started with the Stuck-On Fashion Totes. They were a huge hit and great for all ages and ability levels. Each girl was able to decorate a super cute pink and white zebra striped tote bag with peel and press stickers.

The Fashion Headbands and Bracelets were a lot of fun. Each kit came complete with everything we needed to design and make our own unique accessories, including scissors, glue and an assortment of ribbons, rhinestones, flowers, feathers and more.

Nana and Isabelle making a headband...

Our friend Nellie showing off the bracelet she made.

The Pop-Art Necklaces were really simple, all the girls loved them...and so did the boys. We started with a plastic bottle cap, the kids could choose a sticker to place inside of it or color their own, pop in a plastic dome, then string it on a cord and add some beads.

Making Pop-Art Necklaces...

Both the Moms and the kids were thrilled with our experience with Creativity for Kids crafts. We loved that the kids were able to use their creativity to make their own unique pieces, we loved that the kits included absolutely everything we needed to complete our projects and we were impressed with the quality of all the products. Thumbs up all the way around!

Check out the website to view all of the products Creativity for Kids has to offer, you can also sign up for the Creativity Club. It's free to join, you'll receive activity downloads and special promotions.

Be sure to like Creativity for Kids on Facebook too!

It's always an exciting day when the Wittlebee box arrives, like it did today.

Not familiar with Wittlebee? It's a monthly children's clothing club (birth to size 6). Each month you receive a box of brand new, name brand clothes in the size and gender you've selected. Your personal Wittlebee Stylist hand picks those clothes based on your preferences. You can get the nitty gritty on the Wittlebee FAQ page.

It's just $39.99 a month and that includes shipping. You can save $10 off your first month by using my link, click here. There's no obligation and you can cancel at any time.

We received our 4th Wittlebee box today and I'm thrilled with it as always. Let me share it with you so you get a better idea of just what Wittlebee is all about.

Here's what you're box will look like when you crack it open:

The clothes come neatly folded and wrapped in tissue paper. Sometimes there's even a nice little note from your stylist.

Here's what we got today:

*Note the Wittlebee logo sticker, which is what my little guy was most excited about. :)*

A pair of super cute Dockers brand dump truck socks and these rad Gap undies...

A black Makaveli polo shirt and Boyz Wear by Nannette denim shorts...

Striped t-shirt from Old Navy...

Blue plaid shorts by Makaveli...

Green Goldenwood polo shirt...

And my favorite piece this box, this preppy Gymboree polo shirt...

I hope you'll decide to give Wittlebee a try too. :)

*In full disclosure, I was not approached by nor compensated by Wittlebee to write this review. I simply think it's a fantastic service that I really enjoy and wanted to share it with you. However, the Wittlebee links included in this review are my personal referral links and I do receive credit for new members who sign up via my link.*
